For me though:
Ford Focus ST - Good but too showy
Nissan Leaf - finally a usable electric car ?
Range Rover Evoque - too unreliable a brand
Mercedes CLS - nice to look at, but too big
VW Passat - looks classy...never been a fan of VW though..
Cars need to be affordable, comfortable and reliable...anything else is a bonus..
Unless someone wants to buy me an Aston Martin DB9...

A bit about me...
This weekend I managed to get some mountain biking done in and around the villages where I live.
I am lucky enough to be in West Berkshire, right on the border with Oxfordshire, and therefore have access to some great biking areas.
These take me from along the river Thames in Pangbourne, up to the lovely Whitchurch and Whitchurch Hill, to Woodcote, Goring, Streatley (again finding the river Thames) and back into Lower and then Upper Basildon, before returning to Pangbourne.
I am not a huge watcher of TV, but I did follow the BBC's The Classroom Experiment with interest, and not just because of the delightful Miss Overbury, but also with a genuine feeling the the teaching of our children is not as good as it could be.
A great programme I urge you to watch is Downton Abbey. Yes I know it is a period drama, but dont be put off...this is a good one. What is more surprising is that its on ITV, a channel whos standards have been famously low. Great location (Highclere Castle here in Berkshire) great cast, fine writing and performances from all.
Its true that 1 particular lady in the show gets my attention more than she should, but I can't help it, she reminds me a great deal of a lady I have known for some 5 years, and have helped through her transition from unhappily married to happily single. She knows who she is and that she will always remain close to my heart.
On a different note, I had the good fortune to win the lottery this weekend.
Ok, so it was not the top prize, but a welcome win afterall. I got 2 numbers and both stars in the Euro Lottery...but somehow still only won £15.10 . I cant help thinking that something is going wrong with lottery prizes. Sure the headline of possibly winning £80m is attractive, but wouldn't the lottery companies get more people buying tickets if the chances of winning anything were better..? And surely £15.10 is not fair recompense for 2 numbers and both stars ?
Why not limit the top prize to £10m (enough I think for anyone) and raise the lower prize levels to a minimun of £50 ?
For my readers in the US, the Euro lottery is run throughout europe and is separate from our National Lottery here in the UK. Both though are suffering from reduced ticket sales but have decided against improving the odds of winning.
In my next blog, I will try to tell you more about me, my travels, museums and art.

The Classroom Experiment
If you have been following the BBC series, The Classroom Experiment, you will have noticed a certain female teacher.
The delightful Miss Overbury.
Very sexy eyes, pretty face nice dark hair....ahhh what more could a chap want..?
I bet she even makes a lovely cup of tea and serves it with chocolate biscuits...
Much sexier than Cheryl Cole...

Blonde Island...
Hello all,
Let me start by saying that I like blondes as much as the next man, but the idea of a whole island with only blondes holds little interest for me.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-11442920
It is not the hair colour of a lady which first attracts me...sometimes it is the hair cut and style, which may itself be complemented by the colour.
The eyes are very special, and hold the key.
Eyebrows are nice, as is the smile.
For a man to limit himself to only blondes (or big boobs or long legs) is folly, he is missing out on so much.
More fool him.

A letter to America...
For some reason unknown to me, my little blog seems to be of great interest to the nice ladies of the good ol' US of A.
Howdy, then ladies.
Maybe you are planning a business trip to the UK, and would like some company with a local. Perhaps to join you at a business function, event or seminar....or simply someone to have dinner with, go to a museum or go shopping with.
Whatever the reason, I am at your service.
Let me know when you are arriving, and I might be able to collect you from the airport, and whisk you to your hotel....a chauffer with benefits..!
So, ladies of America, come to England and taste some of our hospitality...

Networking suggestions...
This blog is an experiment, to see if the good old interweb can help me connect with ladies who might need a little 'extra' in their lives.
In past jobs I have networked, but somehow I dont feel that it would be a suitable environment for this role. Unless of course someone nice can get me an invitation to 'Ladies who Latte' or the 'Athena Network' ! I would be most impressed, but I wouldn't know how to introduce myself and explain why I am there...
Any suggestions...?

To answer a few questions, I have put this together :
1) discretion and confidentiality are paramount... this works both ways, now and forever
2) I do it because I adore women, and clearly not for the money
3) women excite and fascinate me in equal measure
4) I am a fairly ordinary chap, but I love being in the presence of women, listening and talking to them
5) I am usually to be found wearing understated clothing, Gap being my favourite Brand, but sometimes I will wear a suit if work demands it.
6) Yes, I have a day job as it were, ( I am self employed )
More answers to follow, no doubt.. :)

Ladies, do you miss the thrill of a new relationship....?
Hello ladies,
Do you remember the thrill you got from a new relationship... when the promise of a phone call, email or meeting with a new chap sent your heart all a-flutter..?
Do you miss those days..?
They can return.
The anticipation of a new friend, the discreet emails and naughty phone calls at work....all these and more are possible.
You just need to be brave...grab the opportunity with both hands....throw yourself in and enjoy the feeling of weightlessness, euphoria and excitement.
Why should others have all the fun ? Now its your turn to live a little, for yourself.
Join in and enjoy...what have you got to lose..?

An introduction from an escort...
Hello ladies, and welcome to my world.
My role is to help ladies feel better about themselves. Sometimes this is done physically, sometimes emotionally and often by just being a discreet friend they can turn to in times of need or anxiety.
The word 'discreet' is vital in my situation, both for me and my clients (friends).
I guess I should tell you a little about myself....my name is not important at this stage and I live in a nice part of Berkshire. I am fairly well educated and travelled, I have run my own business, worked in film and TV and been in the Armed Forces.
As I said, I help ladies feel better about themselves. I dont do this for money, although there is sometimes a small fee, I do it because I adore women. They excite and fascinate me in equal measure.
Some of my clients need me to go to social or business engagements, some like to go shopping with me and others for more personal needs.
My tagline, as I understand everyone has one these days, is : 'Happily servicing married women since 2005' Many of my clients use me for many years, some for a set period only others on an ad-hoc basis.
Now, you're probably thinking, ok, how does this work..?
firstly with discreet emails
secondly discreet phone calls
thirdly a meeting at a hotel lobby, restaurant or bar of your choice
Obviously at any time during these stages you are free to stop the communication, no explanation is necessary.
If however there is a 'spark' of attraction and understanding, then we may agree to continue our conversations, and see what happens.
My clients are usually (but not always) married, hence the discretion and confidentiality. Some are single and in business. I try to find clients who live not too far away, helps keep costs down..
I have recently met a few ladies who are in the early stages of deciding if they want to turn communication into something more...two are in the Maidenhead area, one in Henley and another in Woodcote.
Well, I guess thats enough for now, I am new to this 'blogging' game, so will leave it at this for now, but if you would like more information, in complete confidentiality of course, please contact me at blokedriver@yahoo.co.uk
Thanks
